Met Machel

Christina, Vidya & I went to Machel's meet & greet at Island Mix restaurant & lounge last night. He was in Pickering ;-) to promote his Aug. 4 Machel Montano HD show at Lamport Stadium.

pointing at me, telling security to keep an eye on us

He has a stain on his shirt & Vidya came to his rescue w a Tide pen, lol.

Christina asked him if it was blood from Zen :-O

Oh, the stain, the bloody stain.
That is too funny! Great wit from your friend Christina! If I was guilty, her quip would burn a bigger stain on my chest, and Tide pen out would be no match.

"Out, damned spot out, I say!" Lady Macbeth (internet search; I am not that smart, LOL)

Karabana, seems like you have great momentum going into Carabana (your blog is quite informative). Lessons well learned in Trini nah.

I may make it to Toronto this year, but it will be a super last minute decision.

    Shoutout to trini-in-toronto.

    Hey Dougla,

If you decide to come up, give us a shout, we will make a lime.

Even if its a last minute trip, I would seriously suggest getting a costume. (being a spectator at caribana isn't like it is on the parkway) For a male costume it shouldn't be a problem to get one, we have some contacts... its only about $120 Canadian including lunch and chasers.

I think 7 pm is a good time to reach. I'm thinking before we head down we could hit a mas camp to get more blog material or you all could come over a little earlier and I could throw some chicken on the BBQ. What you all think
