Great pictures, thanks for posting them! Pretty, but not seeing the theme though.
I love your little check mark on the bands that have launched. Too cute. I'm not saying anything yet. Just waiting patiently for Carnival Nationz.
PS: Thanks for the coverage and pics! What would we do without you??
LOVE LOVE LOVE The Purple & Flourescent pink(actually looked like candy on the bra) there was alot of options offered at the launch cute..and loved the Wings...
also loved the blue vry nice work TK
still wanting to see other bands/
good work ! blue is a fav as well as the brown and gold! but juicy fruit is a repeat from last yr.
will wait and see the other bands.
would u be able to put up a price list once you hear about it.
Costumes prices will be announced on Friday.
Deposits (Cash only):
Backline: $100
Frontline: $200
Section Leader: $300
Individuals: $300
10 years ago I paid $85 for my first costume.
Now it's $100 deposit for backline! GeeZ.
In the summer of 2002, gas was $0.69 a liter. I'm not saying that justifies the increase, but if you look back at what was passing for a costume 10 years ago...... We have a red costume from Y2K posted down near the bottom of the page and it was a ill fitting sports bra, lots of red plastic, gold Christmas tree beads, not to mention the glued on glitter. Things have surely changed. For the better... that's up for debate. There is no doubt that the costs that bands incur and the extras that masqueraders now expect as normal have increased.
Prices are up:
Prices range from up to $575 for Section Leader, Frontline $450, Backline Female: $200 Individual: $600 Backline Male: $195, Frontline Male: $250, & there are add on/upgrade options. Check their site for exacts on each section.
Playing the Eye Candy front line! looking for 10 more ppl so we can get a discount!
Group rates are the way to go!
I love the tiara option for the blue costume. Majority of the time, I end up giving my headpiece away after crossing cause it's too much of a pain.
The cheaper price is a nice option as well. The guys need something for the head, however.
