Carifestival - Carivaughan 2018

We have been attending the festival from the beginning, So, we didn't pay any attention to this boycott idea. Anybody that thinks thinks staying away from this event hurts anyone but the organizers, has likely never attended. If you weren't there last year or the year before, is it really a boycott? or are you just not that interested in supporting the event?

Killing this event will probably win votes for the councilor responsible for the permit cancellations. There are other ways to show your dissatisfaction.

Long time masqueraders keep telling me how much you miss your las lap in Hamilton and or Barrie, well, there's Vaughan! It's not the day after TO Carnival anymore, so no excuses, and we should support it. 
Jump up again in your Carnival costume, or, purchase a CariVaughan colours parade t-shirt. 
The parade starts at 12:00 at Woodbridge Fair Grounds, 100 porter Avenue. 
Get your crew together because we jammin still!

As they say, remember our last lap in Vaughan! If you're not too tired from Caribana, head over to (Melville Ave.) Major Mackenzie & Rutherford for the parade at noon.
