Fabulous footwear

One of my favourite things to do after I've chosen my costume is shop for footwear. Back in the day we just had a rather dull selection of mostly white athletic shoes to chose from, but we're quite fortunate nowadays to have many shoe options, including buying colourful shoes online. Caribana masqueraders have not just stuck with sneakers the last several years either, but boots, a Trinidad Carnival influence, are seen more and more.
Locally, I've seen many inexpensive multi-coloured fun ked style sneaks at Walmart & Zellers that would match very well with so many Caribana costumes. As well, Costa Blanca outlet store on Orfus Rd. has these fringed boots for just $10. This neutral tan colour or black would go well with a lot of costumes.
Here's some shoes and boots that coordinate with the costumes you're playing in. Let everyone know where you've shopped for footwear & what store you had success with.

Dayum, out of all things, I didn't think about shoes! Where do I get those Seychelles?

They do look really nice. Thanks for the suggestion lol.

Karabana, thanks for the great tip regarding the Costa Blanca outlet boots! I picked up a pair of tan for myself and a black pair for a friend. It doesn't get any better than 10 dollars. See you on the road!
