~ Karabana ~

OK folks, tomorrow Tuesday July 14th is the official launch of Caribana 2009!!!

Its happening at Yonge and Dundas Square between 12 noon and 2pm.

I have to work, but Karabana will be there lending a hand and getting some pictures for those of you who can't come down.
If you can make it, I would really recommend it, its a very nice time, and there will be costumed masqueraders representing the bands, plus you can meet band leaders, listen to some live calypso, steelpan, eat some island food and take in the vibes.

So, if you see Karabana hail her out, and tell her to bring me a piece of sweetbread or something.
