De Island Lime, this year called De Scotiabank Caribana Lime due to not being held on the Olympic Island because of the city strike, was held at Ontario Place on August 2.
It was an overall nice day with plenty of entertainment. On the one hand, I liked the location as it didn't take as long to get to. However, there weren't as many vendors, and "the island vibe" was of course not there.
There were performances from Iwer George, Macoomeh Fifi, Tigress, Moses Revolution, Salah's Steelpan Academy and many others.
Today ended the official Caribana season with activities again at Ontario Place. There was music, dance, a performance from TnT Panorama winners Silver Stars, and a mini masqueraders parade.
