The first section, Denise in Oya, hit the stage at 1:45, and the crowd probably forgave Nationz for the late hour when they were shown stunning costume after stunning costume. I feel photos, from no matter how big & expensive a camera, can't capture just how rich & luxurious looking the costumes are. You only get that from seeing them up close & in person.
So far the bands that have launched have given Caribana 2011 masqueraders boundless beauty to choose from.Good luck with registration, a friend was among the first 20 in line last year & didn't get her 1st choice, it was sold out.
Update on sold outs, as of May 15th: Banshee, Sphinx, and Unicorn female; Quetzal and Dragon female and male; and Oya frontline.
As of June 8, the only female sections left are Angel, Pegasus and Centaur.

Karabana...u got some great shots.. Some of mine look similiar as well. What a great caribana year, I am excited. :)
Not a wankster costume in sight. I am truly impressed by Carnival Nationz this year.
